Cadet V. Mahalakshmi stands out as the sole representative from our Rajapalayam NCC unit and one among only eight cadets selected from the Madurai NCC Group Headquarters. The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at our college. The event began with a grand parade, which set the tone for the day’s celebrations. Students and staff actively participated in the parade, showcasing their dedication and unity.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by our esteemed Secretary, Dr. P. Mahendran. The Principal, Dr. M. Subbulakshmi, and the Director, Dr. G. Venkadasalapathi, graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the significance of the event. The Secretary's Republic Day speech was inspiring, emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and its values.
One of the highlights of the program was the recognition of NSS volunteers for their active contributions to various social and community development activities. They were awarded for their commendable service, which stood as a testament to the spirit of selflessness and commitment to the nation.
The day also featured a series of cultural events that paid tribute to India’s rich heritage and diversity. These performances included songs, dances, and skits that celebrated the country’s unity in diversity and historical achievements.
