Report on the 76th Republic Day Celebration

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at our college. The event began with a grand parade, which set the tone for the day’s celebrations. Students and staff actively participated in the parade, showcasing their dedication and unity.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by our esteemed Secretary, Dr. P. Mahendran. The Principal, Dr. M. Subbulakshmi, and the Director, Dr. G. Venkadasalapathi, graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the significance of the event. The Secretary's Republic Day speech was inspiring, emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and its values.

One of the highlights of the program was the recognition of NSS volunteers for their active contributions to various social and community development activities. They were awarded for their commendable service, which stood as a testament to the spirit of selflessness and commitment to the nation.

The day also featured a series of cultural events that paid tribute to India’s rich heritage and diversity. These performances included songs, dances, and skits that celebrated the country’s unity in diversity and historical achievements.

EXTENSION ACTIVITY

The faculty members from the departments of Statistics, Electronics, and BBA conducted an insightful outreach session at Nadar Mahamai Higher Secondary School (Boys and Girls), Elayirampannai. They met with the +2 students to explain the significance and advantages of pursuing higher studies in their respective disciplines.








The session aimed to create awareness among students about the diverse career opportunities and academic prospects offered by these fields.
