The Health Club and the Department of Zoology, G. Venkataswamy Naidu College (Autonomous), Kovilpatti, jointly organized an Awareness Programme on Cervical Cancer Prevention on 28th August 2025 at 2:00 PM in the College Auditorium.

The resource person, Dr. P. Krishnaveni, M.S (OG), Consultant, Sri Krishna Hospital, Sattur & Porunai Hospital, Tirunelveli, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of early detection, preventive measures, and lifestyle practices to reduce the risk of cervical cancer.

The session provided valuable insights to students and faculty members, creating awareness on women’s health and emphasizing the need for regular medical check-ups and preventive care.
