On March 13, 2026, as part of Tamil Nadu’s “Nadappom Nalam Peruvom 2.0” (Let’s Walk, Let’s Attain Wellness) initiative, G.V. N. College, in collaboration with the Health Club of Kovilpatti, organized an 8 km health walk at Kovilpatti. The event was flagged off by the Deputy Collector of Thoothukudi. GVN College Director Dr. B. Makeshkumar, along with staff members and students, actively participated in the healthy walk.
