G. Venkataswamy Naidu College is a general degree college situated in the southern part of Tamil Nadu, Thoothukudi District, Kovilpatti and it is affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. The college has been re-accredited with ‘A’ grade (3.21 out of 4.0) by NAAC and the University Grants Commission granted Autonomy status for our institution in the year 2020. Spreading Awareness, Building Futures – Anti-Drug Awareness Programme at G.V.N. College

The NSS Unit 180 of G. Venkataswamy Naidu College (Autonomous), Kovilpatti, organized a meaningful Anti-Drug Awareness Programme on July 14, 2025, at the college seminar hall.

The event aimed to sensitize students to the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Graced by the presence of Dr. B. Mahesh Kumar (Director of Self-Financed Courses) and Mr. M. Marichamy (NSS Programme Officer), the session underscored the importance of making informed choices and standing firm against peer pressure.

Dr. B. Mahesh Kumar, through his thought-provoking message and interactive discussions, inspired students to become ambassadors of awareness and responsible citizens.
