80th Independence Day Celebration
G. Venkataswamy Naidu College (Autonomous), Kovilpatti, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm on 15 August 2026. The celebration was organised by the Department of Physical Education at the G.V.N. College Aided Campus.
The programme featured the NCC Parade, Flag Hoisting, and Independence Day Address followed by the National Anthem. The celebration brought together the management, faculty members, and students in honour of the nation and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.
The event reflected the spirit of unity, patriotism, discipline, and pride in our nation, making the 80th Independence Day celebration a memorable occasion for the G.V.N. College family.
