One-Day Faculty Enrichment Programme on Future-Ready Academia
The PG & Research Department of Commerce, G. Venkataswamy Naidu College (Autonomous), Kovilpatti, organised a One-Day Faculty Enrichment Programme on “Future-Ready Academia: Empowering Faculty for Academic Excellence, Research Leadership and Innovation” on 14 August 2026 at the Seminar Hall.
The programme featured two insightful sessions led by distinguished resource persons. Dr. S. Johnson Retraraj Samuel, Professor (Research) and Head, Regeneration and Stem Cell Biology Lab, Centre for Molecular and Nanomedical Sciences, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, handled the first session on Research Excellence, Intellectual Property Rights, Patent Filing, Funding Opportunities and High-Impact Publications.
The second session was handled by Dr. T. S. Subbulakshmi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Sri Paramakalyani College, Alwarkurichi, who spoke on “AI-Empowered Academia: Transforming Teaching, Learning and Research.”
The programme provided faculty members and research scholars with valuable insights into research development, innovation, intellectual property, funding opportunities, high-impact publications, and the effective integration of Artificial Intelligence into teaching, learning and research.
The enrichment programme served as a valuable platform for strengthening the academic and research capabilities of the faculty and preparing them to meet the evolving demands of future-ready higher education.
